It is based on Moody Fuzz kit from Sweden. Made a few modifications, and here is what it sounds.

Guitar: Telecaster with Harmonic Design Super-90 (P-90 style) bridge pickup. Amp: Roland Cube 20X. No other effects in chain, guitar — delicifuzz — amp.

This unit is not noisy at all when disengaged. True bypass switching. If you hear noises in this recording probably it was from the digital camera.

Setelah survey keliling ke berbagai toko musik di Jakarta, plus baca-baca berbagai referensi tentang amplifier, akhirnya pilihan jatuh pada Roland Cube 20X.

Untuk sebuah amplifier gitar dengan kekuatan 20 watt, harganya memang relatif tidak murah. Tapi kalau dihitung-hitung, ‘gadget’ yang satu itu bukan hanya amplifier biasa. Lihatlah panelnya.

Ada tuner. Ada chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, delay dan reverb. Fitur-fitur ini jarang sekali ditemukan di amplifier sekelasnya.

Clean Channel

Suara clean-nya berbasis Roland Jazz Chorus (JC-120), yang IMO adalah karakter clean yang paling mantab sedunia.

2 pilihan channel clean dan lead itu standar, sebagian besar amplifier gitar juga punya. Tapi di amplifier ini bisa pilih karakter lead yang diinginkan; acoustic simulator, overdrive, distortion, metal, metal stack dan tube drive.

Bisa juga dibuat nekat jadi amplifier bass. Di video ini pakai fretless jazz bass ‘tribute to Jaco Pastorius’.
