  Memilih NetBook yang Bisa Menggunakan Mac OS X 

  MacBook memang keren. Tapi sampai saat ini belum ada versi MacBook mini atau MacNetBook atau apalah istilahnya, yang harganya lebih terjangkau.

  Move Over Tiger and Let Leopard Take Over 

  Yak silakan ditebak judul di atas itu ngembat dari lagu apa (sepertinya sih tidak terlalu sulit). Dan beginilah pengalaman saya menggiring Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) menggusur Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4).

  Ceritanya nekat nih. Saya tidak mem-backup semua data yang ada di sistem lama. Kalau instalasi bersih (fresh install, istilah untuk format ulang lalu pasang semuanya dari nol) kemungkinan berhasilnya jauh lebih tinggi. Tapi itu pilihan paling terakhir.

  ---

  Pertama. Backup DVD Installer.

  Dang! DVD Leopard ini ternyata 7 giga lebih. Butuh DVD Dual Layer, sementara di stok cuma ada DVD-R Single Layer. Terpaksa ditunda.

  Kedua. Percobaan Instalasi Pertama.
